In the second quarter of 2015, the average price of new buildings in Montenegro was \u20ac1,160 per square meter, which is 8.1% higher than the quarter before and 1.9% more than the second quarter of last year. Such data was released by the Montenegrin statistical office Monstat.<\/p>\n
Apartments in Budva on the primary market cost \u20ac1,603 per sq.m., which is 9.2% higher than a year earlier. According to the department, the resort capital of the country has the most expensive real estate in Montenegro.<\/p>\n
Apartments in Bar have become even more expensive \u2013 by 18.5%. In the second quarter of 2015, their cost was \u20ac1187 per sq.m., while in the first quarter its price was \u20ac1001.<\/p>\n
Positive dynamics are not typical for all regions of the country. Thus, in the second quarter of 2015 in Podgorica the cost of apartments in new buildings decreased by 1.5% and amounted to \u20ac1105 \/ 1 sq. m.<\/p>\n
In total, 166 apartments in new buildings were sold in the capital of the country from April to June 2015. Among the large cities, the cheapest housing was offered in Niksic \u2013 the cost per square meter was estimated at \u20ac587.<\/p>\n
