Fuel<\/span><\/strong> Oil<\/span> producers<\/span> have decided<\/span> to reduce<\/span> production<\/span> of<\/span> black<\/span> gold<\/span> from<\/span> 2017<\/span> ,<\/span> so<\/span> fuel<\/span> prices<\/span> will<\/span> rise<\/span> throughout<\/span> the<\/span> year<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

Gas<\/span><\/strong> The gas<\/span> tariff<\/span> grid<\/span> will<\/span> rise<\/span> to<\/span> 3.5<\/span> % from<\/span> January<\/span> 1<\/span> ,<\/span> 2017.<\/span> This<\/span> increase<\/span> reflects<\/span> the increase<\/span> in<\/span> the cost of<\/span> raw materials<\/span> ( + 13.7<\/span> %<\/span> compared<\/span> to<\/span> October<\/span> last<\/span> year<\/span> ). In<\/span> Spain,<\/span> there<\/span> are<\/span> about<\/span> 7.7<\/span> million<\/span> consumers<\/span> of natural<\/span> gas<\/span> .<\/p>\n

Travel<\/strong> In Barcelona, the cost of travel remains unchanged (10 trips with a travel card \u2013 9.95 euros, one ticket \u2013 at the level of 2.15 euros), as announced in mid-December. In Madrid, transport tariffs are also frozen. The cost of travel is from 1.50 to 3 euros. In Valencia, the situation is the same. One ticket on MetroBus costs 1.45 euros, in Metrovalencia and Bonometro \u2013 1.50 euros and 7.20 euros respectively.<\/p>\n

Tobacco and alcohol<\/strong> The government has raised the license for both positions. The price of tobacco products will increase to 2.5%. Fans of famous brands have already felt the rise in price on their wallets. Prices for alcohol have increased to 5%.<\/p>\n

Pensions<\/strong> The pension increase, as in the last 3 years, will be 0.25% minimum, but inflation forecasts significantly exceed this increase. This means that older people will lose their current purchasing power. The Bank of Spain has warned that inflation could soar to 2% already in the first months of 2017.<\/p>\n

Telephone calls<\/strong> Tariffs for calls to Movistar’s Fusion will increase by 5 euros from February 5, 2017. Other provider companies have not yet announced their increases, but may do so before the end of the year.<\/p>\n
