Property prices in Mallorca continue to rise

Date: 06.11.2018

Prices in the Balearic Islands have been on the rise since the end of 2014 and more and more properties are now being sold in Mallorca.

Property supply is limited, with only 1,842 new homes built in the Balearics in 2017 – down from 12,162 built ten years ago.

Prices are set to continue to rise next year, with Majorca still enjoying widespread demand from overseas buyers.

The island has seen strong price growth in the last two to three years and will continue to do so in the medium term due to the lack of new supply. Villas and apartments with sea views are in great demand, with prices ranging from €5 million to €7 million.
