Spanish property investment hits record high
7.5 billion euros – that's how much investment in real estate in Spain amounted to in the last quarter of this year , which is a record figure .
By the end of this year, the total turnover of this segment will amount to 13.9 billion euros , according to the consulting company CBRE .
More than fifty percent of this amount falls in October, November and December. This increase in percentage terms compared to 2015 will be 8 % and 45 % compared to 2014. Foreign investment in Spanish real estate made up 37 % of total capital investment . Buyers from Great Britain , the USA and Germany were the most active . And the amount of investment by local investors grew by 5 % compared to 2015. In addition , real estate in the country rose in price by another 4 % in the 3rd quarter of this year . And it has been rising in price in Spain for 10 quarters in a row .
