Major investors set their sights on Spain

The survey found that nine out of ten of those respondents plan to invest in the country of bullfighting in 2016.

These data are published in a joint report by JLL and IESE Business School. It is based on a survey of more than 10 leading real estate investors in Spain and abroad. It turned out that 89% of respondents primarily consider Spain for capital investment. At the same time, 47% of them have a budget of over €100 million.

It also turned out that 53% of investors are focused on office real estate in Madrid and Barcelona, 46% on logistics, and 44% on shopping centers. Housing is a priority for 38% of respondents, and land for development – for 31%.

Let us recall that Spain became the third European country for real estate investment in the first half of 2015. In the second quarter of 2015 alone, investments reached a record figure of €5.497 million and were surpassed only by the UK with €25.328 million and Germany with €12 million.
