Where is it better to spend? Main investment directions 2016

Based on Knight Frank's latest Price Index, as well as economic indicators and trends at the end of 2015, it appears that global investment interest in 2016 will shift away from the established real estate powerhouses of London, Paris and New York to emerging markets.

Of the European real estate markets , Norway and Sweden are considered the most promising in terms of investment.

As for Norway, over the past year, the growth of housing prices in this Scandinavian country was 6.1%. And Sweden, according to Knight Frank's, is currently the strongest real estate market in Europe. The growth of prices there was more than 11%.

Other global markets named included Australia, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
