Türkiye Makes Citizenship Easier for Investors

New rules for foreigners who invest in the Turkish economy to obtain citizenship in Turkey will come into force in the near future . And those who have acquired real estate in Turkey for the required amount will also be able to obtain a passport .

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş , writes Hurriyet Daily News . These new rules will be for investors who invest the required amount of money in the Turkish economy , purchase real estate of a certain value and own it for at least 3 years , or create jobs in the country . And those who invest in the country's assets and keep them for at least 3 years will also receive citizenship in a simplified manner .

According to Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş , minimum limits for these investment opportunities will be set a little later , “ in the very near future .” Such an initiative to grant citizenship to buyers of local real estate was put forward in Turkey back in 2015 .
