Managing partner of Deniz Estate Yuriy Grushetsky took part in the international forum on construction and engineering on the topic of “Economics of the life cycle of buildings”.

On December 8, 2015, in Kiev, in the conference hall of the Pushcha Hotel, a forum on construction and engineering was held on the topic of “Economics of the Life Cycle of Buildings” from the leading publication in the field of commercial real estate in Ukraine “Commercial Property”, in which the managing partner of the Deniz Estate company, Yuriy Grushetsky, took part.

Also, the forum was attended by heads of construction companies, chief engineers, architects, heads of construction projects, technical directors and other representatives of international foreign and Ukrainian companies.

The following issues were discussed by the forum participants:

– strategy for reducing costs in the design process – Value engineering;

– the cost of energy in the life cycle of a building: little secrets of big savings;

– adaptive architecture of sustainable development. An example of the implementation of the principles of LCC&VE;

– energy savings thanks to low-inertia heating devices;

– legal aspects of an engineer’s participation in a construction project;

– efficient lighting to improve safety, increase productivity, and save resources;

– legislative reforms in the construction sector. Latest changes;

– conceptual engineering design. Commercial construction sector;

– translucent structures: energy efficiency, durability, safety.

In addition, forum participants had the opportunity to discuss a number of additional issues in an informal setting, as well as exchange experiences and information among colleagues and partners.
